Tasmanian Timber. Generations in the Making.
Proudly family owned and operated from Cairns Bay, Southern Tasmania, Bayview Timbers has been supplying locally milled and specialty timber to Australians for over 30 years.
About Us
At Bayview Timbers, sawdust runs in our veins.
What began as Phillips Sawmill, founded by Ted and Daph Phillips, is now carried forward by their daughter Maree McQueen and her husband Scott along with the next generation — the next chapter of a generational timber family.
We’re proud to continue Tasmania’s sawmilling tradition, combining old-school craftsmanship with sustainable modern practices to supply the timber that builds our communities.
You’ll still find us at the mill on Scotts Road, Cairns Bay.
Our customers aren’t just buyers — they’re business owners, builders, artists, and locals who share our love of Tasmanian wood.
